The Thunderbird Wallet

In Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) culture, the Thunderbird is a powerful winged being that figures significantly in Indigenous communities across North America. They are seen as a protector from evil spirits and a life-giver, bringing storms and rain to grow crops. In other legends, the thunderbird comes to punish those of low moral integrity.

This minimalist leather wallet is crafted with vegetable-tanned Pueblo (Badalassi Carlo tannery, Italy).

Leather thickness ±1.4mm / 3.5oz thickness.

The cardholder measurements are 6.25in x 3.87in / 15.87cm x 9.82cm (you can hold US dollar bills folded in the upper slot)

There are 3 card slots, and 1 slot for cash/notes.

This card holder is stitched by hand with strong super fine 100% waxed linen MeiSi thread and is very durable. Edges have been carefully waxed/polished.
