The loon holds deep cultural significance in many Native American traditions, especially for the Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) people, where it's known as 'Maang' and is sacred, part of creation stories, and the namesake for the Maang Doodem (Loon Clan), symbolizing power, wisdom, and being a messenger for culture heroes like Nanaboozho or Glooscap, often appearing in legends as a magical, powerful bird of the northern waters.
This minimalist leather wallet is crafted with vegetable-tanned Pueblo (Badalassi Carlo tannery, Italy).
Leather thickness ±1.4mm / 3.5oz thickness.
The cardholder measurements are 6.25in x 3.87in / 15.87cm x 9.82cm (you can hold US dollar bills folded in the upper slot)
There are 3 card slots, and 1 slot for cash/notes.
This card holder is stitched by hand with strong super fine 100% waxed linen MeiSi thread and is very durable. Edges have been carefully waxed/polished.
